Post Q: Monk energy v's monster threat ?

I have read other posts and info about GW's that monsters(mobs) will assess a party's health lvl's, energy lvl's and armour, then focus attacks on the most vulnerable or most threatening.

This being the case. I was wondering, as I saw in another post about monk energy if my monk was to begin a fight with lower energy then switch to higher energy gear would my threat to the monsters be lowered with a smaller energy pool ?

i always just figured that the monsters went for the shiny bald head of the monk.. but your way of thinkin is much better

But I really cant see how they would end up determining a threat without knowing the skillset and attributes and all that.. in the end it just seems to complicated to impliment.

Besides they always go after the mesmers in pve.. and we all know how dangerous mesmers in pve are.. thats right about as dangerous as a carebear on prozak

I dont really play a warrior all to often.. mostly monk or ranger.. and as for the mesmer thing. i said PVE mesmers. pvp mesmers are the golden gods of kicking ass in the backfeild.. but in pvp they are just a optional support item.. i did the w/mo thing as kinda an inside joke thing.. cause it happens to be my least favorite to play

So I guess since mesmers have high energy ? But, you're right I think I was over complicating . I might try testing the energy lvl v's threat sometime.
Heh, alot of the times I think my shinny bald head helps to confuse the enemy as they run towards me.

Well all of you should have read "The Art of Tanking". Yes enemies do asses AL and they go for the one with the lowest usually a caster, so if you are a tank you have to make sure casters are out of your aggro bubble and then when you have aggrod everything the casters may come back in

Monsters go for the character with the lowest health and armour. Think about that, when you put superior runes on
I have seen so many people who were constantly the first one to be killed by monsters. Sometimes my monk stands between all the monsters and they still attack that low level necro on the back Monsters hardily care what class you are. If your health is low, you are the first to go. That even counts if you are the tank.
